Q: What is the maximum output of the Powermod wall charger?

A: For Quick Charge 2.0 enabled devices, the output of Powermod chargers depends on the rate of charging your device demands. The following rates of charging are utilized during a full charging cycle:

5 Volts @ 2 Amps (10 Watts)
9 Volts @ 1.6 Amps (14.4 Watts)
12 Volts @ 1.2 Amps (14.4 Watts)

The charging rate will change throughout the charging process to provide you with the fastest charging possible.

For non-Quick Charge 2.0 enabled devices, the rate of charging will not change and the maximum output is 10 Watts (5 volts @ 2 Amps).

Q: Are Powermod chargers compatible with my device?

A: Any device that charges with a USB cable is compatible with Powermod chargers. Each Powermod charger includes one USB to Micro-USB cable. 

 

Q: Does my device have Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Technology enabled?

 A: Most devices with the latest Snapdragon 800, 600, and 400 series processors have Quick Charge 2.0 Technology built-in, but carriers and device manufacturers may have disabled the function on some of these devices. Please check with your carrier or device manufacturer to confirm if Quick Charge 2.0 has been enabled on your device.

 

Q: My device is Quick Charge 2.0 compatible and my carrier or manufacturer has enabled the technology, but I still do not see faster charging results. What should I do?

  3. From where did you purchase your device?

  4. Did you use the cable included with the Powermod charger?

  5. Who is your service provider?

  6. Did your phone recently receive an update (Android, Carrier, firmware, etc.)?

 

Q: How can I place an order if I have a shipping address that is not within the United States or Canada?
